I requested a company to look into the mis selling of my pension fund into oil. This company then passed it onto the financial service compensation scheme, who looked at all my mis sold pensions. My fee to the company is 30%. But am i liable to pay 30% of the total mis sold pension or just the amount i requested the company to look into?ie the oil part? Yvonne

You are liable to pay 30% of the compensation payment. The fee is also VATable at 20%.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA).
