I have had it for some time and absolutely love it. And now it's 60% off...

I don't know why and I don't know for how long, but I thought it was worth mentioning here :-)

Shame it doesn't take the 300m rolls - and the wife won't buy one for that reason. Loooks like a nice toy, too!

Just bought one & very pleased with it. Use Tesco's Everyday Value Food Wrap 300mm x 45m which costs 60p & it fits in just fine ;)
    Thanks OP

Wow! they do cling film in 300m rolls? I like nice toys too, Doc N, but it takes me forever to get through even a standard cling film roll! are there often leftover meals in your Fridge, or is your wife Mummifying everything? :)

Good point! She cooks a lot, and freezes a fair bit of that. Also just a little bit obsessional about covering everything with cling wrap.

    Now where's that cat......

Wonder if this would help me master the old cling film, I just can't work it & have been attacked several times by cling film with a mind of it's own.

I used one similar in a restaurant kitchen I used to work in and didn't get attacked by it once. At home however.........

I just use a knife to score the cling film, then tear it off... or lie my left arm against it, and use my right hand to pull it off.
I use Smart Price cling film though.

Knife + cling film versus me, I wouldn't stand a chance. It's bad enough with the serated edge

This can also be used with foil. Its brilliant and stops cling film wrapping around your hands. Def a good buy.
