The Amazon Checkout

Hello. Hope you are well. There are gloves I want to buy on Amazon, it is steadily going down in price each day. CamelCamelCamel indicates that historically the price can jump back up to it's maximum rather than steadily increase back up.
If I keep the item in Checkout (not the basket as I know the basket reflects the most recent prices) and the item price goes up before I click confirm order, will I most likely be timed out and have to restart the order process and potentially pay a new higher price?
I'm monitoring the price on my mobile while keeping the item in checkout on my pc, so if it decreases I'll cancel out of the checkout and repeat the process until the price stays still or shows an increase. Hope that makes sense. Cheers.

I'm pretty sure the checkout will timeout after a few hours.0

Thanks for your reply. Do you think if I click about the different options in the checkout every so often it will keep the checkout active? I must sound like a loon doing this, but need to save money where possible!
Do you think they may play this card from their T&C's if I try to buy at a cheaper earlier sale price than the current it may hypothetically jump to:
"Despite our best efforts, a small number of the items in our catalogue may be mispriced. We will verify pricing when processing your order and before we take payment. If we have made a mistake and a product's correct price is higher than the price on the website, we may either contact you before dispatch to request whether you want to buy the product at the correct price or cancel your order."0 -
Was about to add to the checkout after restarting the PC and it jumped up in price by £5 then dropped by £1.04

Will see what the price is tomorrow.0
