Mortgage rate change during application
graduate
Hi,
We are FTBs. We have applied for a mortgage with the Post Office and have a AIP. At that time (31st March) the rate was 3.98% (95% LTV). We have since submitted a full application for the mortgage and I have now noticed that their website shows the rate for this mortgage to be 4.29%. I understand that they can withdraw rates whenever they want e.g. when they have sold enough of that product. As the application has been started but has not been completed which rate are we likely to be offered?
Thanks for your help

From what I have been told by others here, submission of the full application normally secures the rate but I'm unsure as to whether it's when the application is sent or the date it's actually looked at by the lender.0

If you have submitted he application and paid the booking fee, you will get the rate you have applied for.0

Thanks. I spoke to them today and they confirmed that we would get the initial rate.0
