Where do people get £1000's of vouchers cheap to sell on ebay ?

I used to get them to sell partly from completing surveys and partly because I once worked from them and at the time we used to get performance bonuses as vouchers! Never £1000's though!

There are probably no vouchers- just a scam

Argos will sell vouchers in bulk at less than face value. Businesses buy them and use them for staff or customer rewards, competition prizes, cashback alternatives etc. As the face value is higher it makes them reward/prize/cashback seem worth more than it actually cost the company.

But therefore some people end up with vouchers and don't shop in Argos or would just prefer cash now (even for a lower amount than face value) and so offload them on eBay.

I heard a story about someone who was a victim of ID fraud. The people used her credit card to buy lots of shopping vouchers and then sold them on Ebay before closing the Ebay account straight away.

My opinion, too good to be true, so probably is.
