Terms and conditions
1. The ‘Win a £5000 holiday’ competition, featured in the Hays Travel and Bath Travel Holiday Specials magazine is a prize draw to win a holiday featured in the Holiday Specials, up to the value of £5000

2. The prize can be redeemed against one featured holiday, up to the value of £5000 the prize cannot be split between multiple holidays featured. Anything in excess of £5000 must be paid by the prize winner

3. The prize is not transferable for cash or currency

5. Entries must be made by the Closing Date (31st May 2015). Failure to do so will result in disqualification

6. There is no requirement to make any purchase in order to enter the Competition

7. Only one entry per household is permitted. In the event that Hays Travel discovers or has reasonable grounds to believe that the same person has made multiple entries, such person and any entries made by them shall be disqualified and, if such entrant has already been selected as a Prize-winner, an alternative Prize-winner will be selected in accordance.

8. Prize-winners will be selected at random and notified within 7 working days from the competition closing, through contact details provided upon entry. No prize will be awarded where any entrant has committed any form of misconduct (as determined by Hays Travel in its sole discretion)

9. The prize is non-transferable and there is no cash alternative. In the event of a prize being unavailable for any reason Hays Travel reserve the right to substitute prizes of equal or greater value at any time

10. Hays Travel reserve the right to cancel or amend all or any part of the Competition and/or the Rules without notice for any event that is outside of Hays Travels reasonable control. Any changes to the Rules, or cancellation of the Competition, will be posted on the Hays Travel website (https://www.haystravel.co.uk). It is the responsibility of entrants to keep themselves informed as to any changes to the rules.

11. In the event of any dispute regarding the Rules, the conduct or results of the Competition, or any other matter relating to the Competition, the decision of Hays Travel shall be final and unchallengeable and no correspondence or discussion shall be entered into, comment issued, or reason given in respect of any decision made by Hays Travel.

12. By entering the Competition, you hereby warrant that all information submitted by you in your Entry is true, accurate and complete in every respect. Hays Travel reserves the right to verify any information contained in your Entry and/or your eligibility to enter the Competition.

13. The Competition is only open to persons who are resident in the United Kingdom and persons who are resident outside of the United Kingdom may not apply.

14. The Competition is open to persons over the age of 18. Entrants may be required to provide proof of identity.

15. Any person that is: an employee of any company involved in the Competition (Hays Travel and Bath Travel); are not eligible to enter the Competition. Hays Travel reserves the right to disqualify any person that it knows is, or has reasonable grounds to believe is, ineligible for the Competition as a result of this Rule.

16. In the event that a Prize-winner is disqualified from the Competition Hays Travel will, select an alternative Prize-winner in the same manner as the original Prize-winner and such selection will be subject to the Rules

17. Insurance is not provided as part of this holiday prize. It will be each prize winner’s and (if applicable) their travelling companion's responsibility to take out at their own cost all relevant insurance (including but not limited to health and travel insurance, insurance for theft, loss and damage to property) which may be required or prudent to be taken. All insurance, spending money and other expenses, unless otherwise stated, are costs for the prize winner and are not provided as part of any holiday prize. Unless stated otherwise, holiday prizes consist of flights and accommodation only.

18. Holiday prizes do not include airport departure or government taxes. These must be paid by the prize winner and any travelling companion.

19. The prize winner and any travelling companions must have and maintain valid passports endorsed with all relevant visas and with expiry dates no less than six (6) months following the proposed dates of travel or such other duration as may be required by any relevant regulation. These passports, and their holders, must not be subject to any restrictions on their rights to travel to and from the applicable country or countries. Passport control and in-country authorities may reserve the right to refuse entry to prize winners and/or their travelling companions. We shall not be responsible for ensuring your ability to travel to your holiday destination nor for any additional costs incurred should you be refused entry.

20. It is the responsibility of the prize winner and any travelling companions (if applicable) to check any travel advisories issued by the Government and determine whether they wish to accept the risk of travelling to the holiday destination. We will not be responsible for any loss or damage suffered by any prize winner and their travelling companions (if applicable) arising out of their failure to follow any travel advisories issued by the Government.

21. The prize winner and their travelling companions (if applicable) must comply with and are responsible for obtaining any inoculation and health regulations required by any holiday prize destination country.

22. We will not be liable or responsible for any loss or damage suffered by any prize winner or their travelling companion (if applicable) should any prize winner or their travelling companion (if applicable) not redeem a holiday prize as a result of any Government travel warning or advisory applicable to the destination country and/or countries or for any other failure on their part to travel. In particular, we shall have no obligation to substitute any alternative prize, cash equivalent or other compensation where a prize winner and/or their travelling companion (if applicable) fail to redeem a holiday prize for any reason.

23. Prize winners and their travelling companions must comply with the terms and limitations of airlines, other transport providers, and the venues involved in the provision of any holiday prize, including any insurance policy relating to the holiday. In particular, entrants must comply with all health and safety guidelines and instructions and all applicable legal and regulatory requirements.

24. The prize winner and their travelling companions (if applicable) must consent to the use of their names and photographs being used by Hays Travel

25. Prize winners must make Hays Travel aware of any medical reasons why they should not or may have difficulty travelling.

26. The winner can add funds into the price of the holiday
