Election Staffing

Not sure if all local authorities have completed recuitment yet, but they are looking for staff for the General Election on 7th May 2015. One day work - in my area a Polling Clerk gets around £160 and a Predising Officer gets around £220 for the day. Although many council staff will fill these posts, they will need extra people as council services have to be covered as normal for the day. Ring your local council and ask to speak to the Elections Office.

I'm counting for our local council this year (and have done for several years now), I had to apply before Christmas for the job.0
