I've just moved into a new house and i need to buy 2 x 2 seater sofas. The task of negotiating is really daunting and i was wondering if people had any success in bargaining and getting a discount and at which furniture store. Any tips welcome.

Just ask if you buy more than 1 can you have it cheaper. Don't accept the first offer (unless it's amazing, & providing there is one), look doubtful. Do be prepared to walk away, they may call you back with an even better offer. Or ask for free delivery.
Or you could pretend that you're buying for someone else & say stuff like ''Oh s/he wont pay that much''. Good luck!
