Online course refund??

I enrolled on to the Harriet Ellis national diploma in dental nursing course in November 2014. This was the online course option and cost £1200. I have decided to drop out of the course as harriet Ellis are not providing me with support I need. I am working in a dental practice one day per week voluntary as harriet Ellis promised to find me a full time permeant job but failed. As soon as payment was recived in November no support has been given. I've only had 2 phone calls since then. As soon as payment was received they were not interested. I contacted Harriet Ellis to request a refund but no refund can be given. Stated on the terms and conditions - There is a 7 day cooling off period where 50% refund of the deposit paid will be given. A failure to sign the agreement will not affect the 7 working day cooling off period. I have not signed an agreement.
Is there any way I could get the money back?

you need to write to them officially aksing for a refund and stating your reasons why. give them 14 days to respond in writing. if you are unhappy with their response, your next step is to go to the county court.
did you pay with a credit card?0 -

did you pay with a credit card?
I will give that a try but even though I did not sign any agreement it is stated in the terms and conditions on the website than no refund will be given. I paid for the course using a credit card.0 -
If the terms and conditions were listed prior to payment then by making that payment and checking the 'I accept the Ts & Cs' box, you HAVE accepted the terms.
Contact them and start a formal complaints process regarding the lack of support or delivery of a role as promised - you will have to give them a proper opportunity to address your concerns in writing before you can think about any court proceedings to recover your losses. Some days, it's just not worth chewing through the leather straps....

When/ how did they promise to find you a full time job? The website says they'll support you in finding employment, nothing more than that.0

Did you highlight the lack of support to them in writing?
Did you give them an opportunity to rectify the issues you raised .... or did you just drop out?Grocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)

you could make a section 75 claim to your card provider but you will need to supply good evidence of why your course was not provided as described. you need to prove that 'misrepresentation' occured on the course providers part.0
