The old FSA site used to allow you to download a table of all available mortgages being offered by every lender.
I found it much easier to have all the information to hand to help with making a decision because all fields of data could be sorted and filtered to help find your best mortgage.
I think it was called the 'FSA's Comparative Tables database'
Does anyone now offer this data anywhere?
I cannot find anywhere near the same level of detail on the MAS site and an online chat with one of their representatives was fruitless.
Thanks

It doesnt exist.
The reason being is that I have access to products that other brokers will not have access to (called exclusive deals or semi exclusive) and they will have deals I do not have access to.
Brokers as a whole also have access to deals that you can not get directly and there are probably deals not available via brokers (although I think thats less so now than 2-3 years ago).
If you want access to everything you need to find an independent mortgage advisor.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it. This is the current MAS option yes. But it does not allow the same functionality as the old FSA tables.
One example:
the MAS results once returned cannot be filtered to provide only those mortgages without an 'Initial rate period' 2, 3, 5 & 10 year initial rates can be selected. However how can you find mortgages with a rate for life?
Just had a look at one of the old FSA tables I still have and the fields included were:
Provider
Rate type
Initial rate
Monthly cost
Until/for
Tie-in period
Standard rate
Monthly cost
APR
Valuation fee
Set-up fees
Cashback
Incentives
Available from
Restricted availability
Flexible features
Linked current or savings a/c
Conditional insurance

The fact that this information did exist freely in the public domain is the reason that I ask if anyone can still provide it.
I presume it it must still be compiled somewhere, maybe now only available to financial advisors though?*** This Space For Rent ***0 -
I suspect the FCA stopped providing it, as it pumps millions of pounds of our fees into the MAS every year and thought it might be able to do the job instead.

Im not going to say it was not available in the past but I cant see it.
It may have had 95% of deals on there but I cant see it having deals on which are only available through certain brokers.
But as Kingstreet says, we have software that we pay for that gets updated by the companies and lenders. If there were a free version that did everything you wanted im sure brokers would ditch their software overnight.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it. The old FSA charts were unreliable and didnt have full market coverage. They were pulled when MAS started.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. They are not financial advice and you should not treat them as such. If you feel an area discussed may be relevant to you, then please seek advice from an Independent Financial Adviser local to you.0

I found them to be the best that were out there as a consumer, its a shame that it went to be replaced by the dogturd that is anything MAS related!!

I agree, they were very good for what I wanted.
