Time of Year To Retire ?

My wife is 65 in Nov next year and intends to retire about that date , she will have a 2 1/2 yrs deferred SP due and a smaller LGPS pension combined to give her about £12600 per year total income .
At present she pays around £114 pm tax .
For taxation purposes is there any benefit of changing the proposed retirement date ?
Thanks

Sounds like she'll be a basic rate taxpayer before and after retirement, therefore not sure there'll be much, if any benefit in shifting the retriement date from a tax perspective.
I can't find it at the moment, but I'm sure there used to be a thread regarding what time of year is best to retire generally though, which might be worth digging out for a read.0 -
