Looking for equipment for home use such as 5/10kg dumbells, reebok step, medicine ball 5kg and a a Bosu. Obviously don't want to spend more than necessary I will need all this at home as I'm cancelling my gym contract. Also trainers in the trade can you recommend any websites.

A well known auction website, you will need to collect though.0

Can you recommend a website0

Do you not know any auction websites or Argos?0

I bought most of my weights and bars from Argos and it didn't break the bank, less than £150 in total. I made my own pull up bars in the garage from 2 hand rails from a mobility shop and bought a second hand bench for £20. Had all my kit for over 4 years now and has paid for itself 10 times over compared to gym membership fees. All gets used 4-5 times a week without fail.0

Ebay, I've bought most of the stuff I use to teach classes there.0

or ask on freecycle or similar sites. Also lidl and aldi sometimes have fitness stuff as do Tesco or sportsdirect.0

Wouldn't bother with Argos to be honest. Try http://www.ptgear.co.uk/0

eBay all the way! most people buy the stuff with good intentions and end up lacking motivation and leave them gathering dust0

I know the feeling!!
My son wants a pull ups bar for his bedroom door.
Can anyone recommend a good site and price?0 -
If you want something you can put up and take down then you can get a hook over type bar.
They look odd but they actually put pressure sideways into the door frame rather than vertically.
Something like this:-
http://www.amazon.co.uk/EXERCISE-DOOR-PULL-UPPER-TRAINER/dp/B003TTUGRQ
Probably not great if you are very tall mind you.0
