Reassure pension

Hi all,
I have a pension with Reassure previously Barclays.
I am 60 later this month and plan to cash the whole pension in under the new legislation - the pot is very small.
I have had much literature through the post from them telling me about my options - but absolutely no information as to how I cash the pension in and having read through these forums realise that Reassure may charge a fee for the process.
I had planned to wait until this week to phone them and ask some questions - but judging by the news the phone lines are going to be extremely hot as people enquire.
I was wondering if anyone has any experience of Reassure or if anyone has contacted them to get more information of the process of claiming the cash.
Any information would be welcome.
Many thanks.

They seem to have a "new pensions microsite" with information tailored to ex Barclays etc clients concerning post pension freedom options.

It is unlikely there is any fee with reassure for what you want to do.

If the plan has transfer penalties, then these may apply. So, look for a difference between the current value and transfer value as you will get the transfer value.

    yes

Thank you for your replies - I have had so much paperwork from Reassure as I had always planned to retire this month - and I have visited the microsite.
What seems to be missing from all the information they have sent me - is how I go about claiming the money. I am due to retire in 3 weeks - there is loads of information about annuities etc - but no form on which I can claim my money.
I did think maybe they were waiting until the legislation came into force - but reading the news today - an article saying a man will have his payment tomorrow.
'The changes take effect on Bank Holiday Monday, so Mr Gunn will receive the payment on Tuesday morning.' Mind you the report also states Mr. Gunn is a retired chartered accountant so he would really have been on the ball wouldn't he.
Perhaps I should have been a little more proactive.
I shall try the phones tomorrow!

The new rules only came into effect today (Tues 7th as first working day). So, paperwork issued in previous tax year may apply to that tax year.

Reassure may only allow transfer, full "surrender" or annuity. Not the other options.
