Littlewoods confusion

Hi, sorry if this isn't in the right place I'm a newbie! I know this may seem ridiculous but I have a Littlewoods account and I don't understand what the terms mean.. My account says
Available to spend: 327.40
Credit limit: 250
Balance: -77.40
Does this mean I owe them £77.40 or they owe me £77.40? Sorry I must be having a dumb moment
Available to spend: 327.40
Credit limit: 250
Balance: -77.40
Does this mean I owe them £77.40 or they owe me £77.40? Sorry I must be having a dumb moment

I would take it to mean that you're £77.40 in credit. So you have that plus your credit limit available to you for spending.
If you don't want anything at the moment, I'd ask Littlewoods if it's possible to have that refunded to you.Debt Jan 2008: £45,566. *** June 2013: DEBT FREE! ***
Paid back just under £50,000 due to some interest added.
Dealt with my debt through a Step Change (CCCS) DMP.

I thought that, but if account was in credit, it would be +77.40 surely ?I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards. As the "available to spend" amount is the credit limit (£250) plus £77.40, I took it to mean being in credit by that amount.
If over the credit limit, I wouldn't expect to see anything showing as "available to spend".Debt Jan 2008: £45,566. *** June 2013: DEBT FREE! ***

OPs account is £77.40 in credit. I would phone and ask for a refund (assuming OP has somehow overpaid what has been owed on the account).DFW Nerd No. 1484 LBM 07/01/15 Debt was £95k  Now debt free and happy :j0

Thank you for the responses!
I took it as I'd overpaid too, but on my statement it says they took it as a direct debit. I emailed them asking for a refund, they replied saying I had to ask my bank, but over the phone the bank told me there was nothing they could do..?
I'm not likely to spend it on Littlewoods so I'd like it in the bank if it's still mine.. Sorry I'm fairly new to having to sort out my own finances.0 -
I guess you paid for the item and then they also took a DD which is why you have the credit.
Littlewoods will have to refund you the money, the bank cannot do this as the DD has already been taken and cleared.
Just tell them to refund your credit of £77.40 back to your bank account and do not accept any stories that they cannot do this or you need to speak to your bank.0
