Does anyone know where in belfast (east) that could put a hubcap (think that's what they are called) as mine was removed overnight (I only drive a wee banger) and on that subject a mechanic who can help with mot without raking hand off me!

Most wee bangers manage without hubcaps. Don't know about mechanics I live too far away.

Your local motor factors will have sets of aftermarket ones for probably £15-£20.

Halfords do them too, but they are horrendously expensive at £45+ for aftermarket ones.

You should be able to get a genuine one cheapest on ebay - search for say, "Renault 14 inch wheel trim" and find the match of yours. You might be lucky and get a good one second hand.

Typically, new they're around £15-£20 singly from your local main dealer.

Hitting a pothole usually knocks them off so it might not have been someone stealing them.

Also, you can use cable ties to hold them on which stops them being removed accidentally or otherwise.

If you speak nice to one of the guys in there maybe. You might have to throw them a couple of £.
