Ideas for what to make please- Lots of food, no ideas!

Hi :)

I am trying to eat everything i already have in the kitchen cupboards, before i do a shopping trip.

Could someone please give me ideas what i can make? I have:

-Lots of beans (black, black eye, kidney, butter, baked).

-Tinned pineapple, lots of dried fruit

-Lots of lots of lentils. Yellow, red and green.

-Tonnes of pasta, quinoa, rice, noodles, polenta.

-A cupboard full of spices and oils, some herbs, flours.

- Some bacon, beef mince and chorizo in the freezer.

I am a vegan and my children are both meat/dairy eaters, and will eat anything as long as its not mushrooms, tomatoes (but will eat tomato based sauces, in cooking etc) or stir fry dishes.

Please help, i need to save money and am useless at looking in the cupboards/freezer and coming up with ideas :(

Lentil soup, lentil curry, pasta carbonara, quinoa salad, quinoa and avocado fritters, pasta with meatballs, chilli con carni.

The site supercook can give you ideas if you put in what you have and it will give you recipes even if you have a couple of items missing.

beans - a veggie chilli. can also be used as veggie filling for enchilladas

lentils - a dahl curry? sweet potato and spinach will add interest and vitamins. How about a lentil bolognaise style ragu to go with some of the pasta?

2 Pasta dishes where 1 is vegan for you and the other contains meat. Have a look on-line for an Italian restaurants menu and from there look up the recipe of any dishes that appeal.

Pineapple upside down cake for dessert.

    chilli and rice
pasta and bean soup - I use hot dogs in mine but you can use chopped bacon or chorizo - just use a chicken stock or you can make a tomatoey sauce. it's a whole meal, not just a soup
    Chinese style fried rice.
    carmalised pineapple pieces.

Sorry not too good on the vegan part.
