Happy Easter everybody :j
I have just put a whole leg of lamb into the oven without checking the weight. I don't want to go reaching into the bin for the bloody (leaky red kind) packaging to check the weight and am not sure how long I should be roasting this thing for!
It is quite a large leg and was at room temp when it went in about 15 minutes ago.
How long should I cook it for please, and what temps do you usually roast lamb on? (Mine is in at 165c).
Many thanks for any advice

190c 30 minutes per 500 grammes plus 30 minutes. Afraid you are going to have to brave the bin to find the weight.0

I googled what the average weight of a leg of lamb was and went from there0 -
I put our leg of lamb in the oven @ 1.30pm. cooked it for x3 hours on 200C.
Just been eating the roast with a glass of red wine.
Cold lamb tomorrow. The secret to success is making very small, yet constant changes.:)0
