Easter eggs all sold out???

Went to Tesco and asda an hour ago and both stores have sold out of Easter Eggs. I thought they usually ended up selling them off cheap after easter, is this a new tactic?

    I called in Aldi late afternoon today. They were selling big dairyfine bunnies for 40 pence and the Lindt copy ones in milk and dark for 50 pence. I bought five of each and they had loads left.

    I was shopping in Sainsburys at 7pm and there were plenty as I passed. Didn't look at what really but no empty shelves.

    Not much better if they end up losing lots of sales. The Asda worker said they ran out 2 or 3 days ago...
