Hot cross bread?

Morning
Does anyone have a recipe to make a bread loaf that has the same taste as traditional hot cross buns?
I've googled a few recipes but they are adding things like mixed peel, cherries, chocolate chips etc but I just want a straight forward recipe + I don't have any of those extras in the cupboard!
Found lots of recipes for buns but not sure how you would convert the measurements for a loaf
Don't have a machine so would be making this by hand.
