Just a quick one gang,
As many of you long haulers know I was off on long term sick leave, then on JSA for a bit last year before getting a new job this year.
Anyway, short version is I thought Id enquire with the inland revenue, to see if I was due any tax back....
And today I came home to a lovely cheque for 340.80 of overpaid income tax!
So if you re in and out of work/ temping/ sick/ maternity having those fluctuating wages now or in the past, check with the taxman you couold be due a little windfall to clear off some of them pesky debts :T

 Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast

What a lovely surprise for you. I just love it when things like that happen. I recently got money I was owed from tax credits (amazing I know:rotfl: ) but this money has got me out of my overdraft:beer:100 Day Pot £13

Nice one Lynz - well done. :T :TI am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.
If any of my experiences, or the knowledge that I have gained from those experiences, can help anyone who finds themselves in similar circumstances, then my experiences have not been in vain.

its going straight into savings, to replace some of the money I cleared debts with.
