Just wanted to know what is the most successful. Obviously it can depend on personal circumstances and the debt involved.

For me I went straight to CCCS, so I couldn't comment on the others, but I think they are great!

    Another CCCS fan here.

I went to them without trying anyone else.
Is it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches

I am with Payplan. Very good but at the end of the day it is what works best for the individual involved.

I am about to start my own DMP. I have used the information that I have recieved from the CCCS. I would have used the CCCS DMP, but that would have meant them taking aboard all my debts, I want to keep Greenwoods and Provident payments seperate as they both finish soon ( Greenwoods ends 4th December and Provident ends 4th June 2008).

My dad's on a self DMP run by me. Works best for us as he's self employed and my mother's wages don't go into the main account so it's a slightly confusing setup

This is only my opinion as I've not needed a DMP but I'd say CCCS.

The reason for this is they are a professional outfit. I think creditors are more likely to come to an agreement with them than anyone else as they are aware of who they are and how they operate.

Obviously self administered DMP's do work but the CCCS take the hassle and pressure off yourself.

I'm also with CCCS due to start in September.

They've been really helpful so far...

    Good luck:p

My own I found CCCs useless but for others they can be good. I have my own DMP paid a load off last year, this year not a lot.
