Hiya. I didnt want to read and run so thought i would say hi.

Well done on taking the first step - its always the hardest but you've made it though that bit now x

I have found the DFW forums the most friendliest of all on MSE, lots of people with similar issues and mostly friendly advice and support.

A few people have set up their own debt free diaries on their own thread, a place to write about their debt free journey. I have found reading them to be very inspirational. It was reading a few of them as a long term lurker that inspired me on to deal with our own debt. - Take a look at some of them- maybe start your own.

Good luck on your road to debt freedom x.

Savvy Shopper! I've been Money Tipped!
Good luck on your journey Jo Jo. Really wish you all the best. And hope your partner gets the help he needs too. If you feel up to it, the 'what small DFW things are you doing today?' Thread is great for daily chat and support.

Welcome Jo Jo - you really are in the best place. Until I got into the forum I was pretty naive and although we had the LBM that got us into DMP, we only really started getting savvy after listening to the great advice on here. The support has been indispensable too - a few low moments have come my way but the good people here have kept me going. If you look at my sig you can see how big our debt is/was but I know I am not alone. And you won't be either.
