wrongful loan repayment

We paid off a loan early as had ppi. We didn't know at the time of paying off the loan we had ppi. We only paid it off as I had critical illness pay out.
I've been told that I could claim my money back. Does any one know who and how I go about this.

Did you think you had PPI but found that you didn't.


What money are you hoping to claim back, PPI or the money that repaid the loan or something else?

Sounds like trying to claim back the money they thought they were paying for PPI, but weren't.

If the lenders reply saying they thought they had paid you back it should all be good.

If you didn't pay PPI, you cant make a complaint about it and ave it refunded.

If you had PPI then with a critical illness it would have paid out and covered the loan.
It is not clear whether the critical illness policy you mention was linked to the loan or independent.
