Natwest Homebuyers Survey Advice

Hi,
Am a first time buyer and my mortgage application has been made with Natwest and it is currently with the underwriters. With Natwest they usually do the valuation once the underwriters are happy.
Does Natwest do Homebuyers survey? Also is it wise to get them to do it at the same time as the valuation (thats hoping I get accepted by the underwriters).
