I currently have a mortgage for roughly £64500 trouble is I have found out the secondary school for our area isn't good at all from ousted its poor, the primary school is outstanding. So I'm thinking of wanting to move however have had quite a lot of problems with the neighbours that back on to us.
so what I'm wondering and want advise on is it best I overpay my mortgage for the next 8 years till my DS gets near to the age of going to secondary school then move or what's best? I know I'm thinking far into the future and the school may change but would like help

Depends on whether you want to wait until DS is ready for secondary as you already have problems with neighbours.
If you want to move sooner to different area but still near the primary school but can attend a different secondary school.
Would you have enough savings for all the estate/legal fees without adding to your mortgage,
or overpay mortgage until maybe a couple of years before DS goes to secondary, stop overpaying and start saving for fees/decoration etc etc.
Personally I cannot see beyond ovepaying my mortgage, but then I took it out very late in life, so late in fact, if I don't overpay I will stop paying my mortgage one month and retire the end of the next month.Looking forward to the day I have nothing left to list on eBay0
