Hello there can anybody help me!
I would like to apply for a mortgage in the near future but recently left a debt management plan. I did not incur a default on the plan which lasted only 6 months before i realised what a detrimental effect it was having on my credit. All arrears are paid off and my credit score is 'excellent' again. Six months have passed without any late payments and most of my debt is paid off. I earn £60k a year so i never really needed to enter the dmp but some bad advice and naivety has caused a massive issue regarding upsizing to accommodate the growing family. Could anyone give me an honest idea of how long u think it might b before i can be approved. I know im an idiot that goes without saying, thanks for reading

Can't say how long it'll be. What I can say is that the larger percent deposit, the more options you most likely have.
What price of property are you looking at? What sort of deposit are you aiming for? How much are you going to save a month?0
