Is it worth anything?

I've got an autograph of one of the Beatles and wondered if its worth anything - bearing in mind that there is a market for memorabilia of "famous people".
Does anyone know? and, if so, what sort of figure are we talking about?
EDIT; One very quick google later and a couple of comments later and I've gathered it is and the question is how much and how to cash in the value. So - its by George Harrison and is in ink.

People would probably buy it but price wise would be difficult to ascertain as it may be worth just a few pound or a lot more depending on which one it is and authenticity as well, If you have conclusive proof and or can get it verified then may be worth while looking at some sites that specialise in this type of thing or ebay at an auction rate with a set figure you are happy to achieve.0

Authenticity is indeed the thing and I can understand the need to check this.
I think it would be useful to have a little check for myself by seeing a photo of his signature somewhere online and I could see if it looks similar.
EDIT; just found google images of his signature online - first thought "Yep...that 'g' does look the same...that loop there..."
Back for another comparison look.
Is starting to tell myself not to raise hopes too much - as I've just seen the identical signature - wording and all...
The thing that is puzzling me slightly is the book I have just bought that has that signature in states its printed in 2014 inside a front cover - though, as far as I know of his beliefs, the book is one very much in accordance with them.

Do you mean the book which was printed in 2014 has a facsimile signature in the text, as George died in 2001.
If you have an item autographed by George which has provenance, it would be worth hundreds if not thousands. If you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales0 -
Duh...which just goes to show just how much I don't keep up with the celebrity news......
Now that is odd then....., Now why on earth would someone duplicate a signature of his in a book printed after his death? <puzzled smilie>
The signature is written in the flyleaf of the book - as in one of those "people doing it at the time for benefit of purchaser of book" scenarios.
Bar a bit of "resurrection from the dead" then I guess it aint worth the paper its written on then?:(0 -

Most odd.
As an aside, did you know that the so called "signed photos" which were issued by record company when The Beatles first became famous were actually signed by the female staff members who put the photos in envelopes to send to fans.If you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales0 -

That's exactly what I was going to say.....
DH had a work colleague who thought his rare Beatles LP with all four signatures was his pension till he discovered the above
Regarding Money's signed book, we have a friend with a record shop. She told us that a business rival was selling records with the autographs of the bands/singers on the sleeves - turned out he was signing them himself, proved after our friend sold him some stock (unsigned) that turned up next day at a carboot complete with autographs that a) weren't there the day before and b) the *stars* concerned were out of the country at the time.....
Last we heard the police were on the case
