Does anyone know if the current '£9.99 per month / No Contract' offer will apply to existing customers? I've a horrible feeling that, as with SKY offers, existing customers will continue to lose out.

No it applies to existing customers also, however my dh ordered it and has had nothing but hassle - the picture quality is poor, when it rains (ie almost all of the time) there is no signal at all, and as with Sky, their customer services is rubbish. He phoned yesterday for the 9th time to complain about the picture quality, and they told him that their signals are ok, so it's a problem with Sky. Our Sky channels, however, are fine. I think he is just going to cancel as there is no point paying for a service when it only rarely works.
NB - if you have two sky boxes ie one in a bedroom, you have to pay £15 per month- as he found out afterwards!0 -

You have to go through to Setanta cancellations and they will switch you over. Word of warning to anyone on the yearly contract with one off annual payment, you will NOT receive a renewal notice and will be charged a rolling £180 yearly unless you cancel one month prior to renewal date in writing.0 -
We had exactly the same problem with Setanta and Sky. We spent a solid weekend going between the two with them blaming each other and us missing the matches that we had signed up early to see.
We were eventually told that we would need our dish re-aligned even though every other sky channel was perfect and it would be £65. Don't think so! Tried to cancel Setanta and were told that we had to pay for 2 months before we could cancel, £20 sign up fee and £10 x 2, so £40 for nothing. Cant cancel the service until second month, what service?
Back to Sky and threatened to cancel our subscription. Eventually they sent an engineer out to realign the dish FOC. Bring back Premplus, much easier!0 -

Hi Bambi,
This happened to me - I had a feeling they might try something sneaky like this (read my thread on Setanta HERE.) I'm now going to have to write to their finance department to get the money back and get put on the £9.99 deal. It's really annoying

Think I'll go to the pub and watch the matches when my team is on-less hassle!0
