Finally IVA failed

So finally had the IVA failure notice today. Now I just need to get the £705 together to petition for Bankruptcy.

Now is it true if my creditors contact me I can tell them my plan is to go bankrupt. This seems like it would annoy them somewhat. The folks at Stepchange have advised me to do this.

It's entirely up to you whether you tell your creditors or not, they are likely to hound you more if you do though.

Personally, I'd just get on with life and save the fees and pay your priority bills and pretend the debts no longer exist.

If you get phone calls I would say you are taking advice on the debt then try to forget them.
