Urgent help needed - CCJ

Hi all,
I decided to sign up to Noddle so I could have a nosey at my credit file.
I went into the 'public information' section and noticed I have been given a CCJ for the sum of £872 on 16/12/2014!!! It is registered to my old address which I haven't lived at for almost three years.
I have phoned the courts and they have said it's for Littlewoods catalogue who sold it to arrow global who took me to court and won.
I did have a debt with these around 7-8 years ago but I'm pretty sure I defaulted and it has since been taken off my credit file.
Where do I stand? Can I have it set aside or not? How would I have known about it when it's been issued to an address I haven't lived at for so long?
Any help appreciated.

Default or CCJ? You mention both. Get advice and set aside as sounds like it was statute barred. Get help here http://www.legalbeagles.info/forumsStill rolling rolling rolling......

Sorry meant CCJ - have edited.
I was certain I defaulted with Littlewoods and that it had since been removed due to how long it had been. But now they've issued me with a CCJ December last year.
Is there a way to see defaults/accounts that have been removed from credit file? I have absolutely no paperwork on it as it's been so long!
**UPDATE**
I have found an old credit report which states arrow global defaulted me on 01/12/2008. the ccj they have given me is 16/12/2014 - so over 6 years old.

Not sure if you can get it set aside on the basis it was statute barred (was it).
Linked forum is your best bet here.:beer:0 -
Your other option would be to have it set aside, because the creditor sent the court papers to the wrong address.
If successfully set aside for this reason, you could then go down the statute barred route to tie up loose ends.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards. Get it set aside as the papers were not served to you and you have a defence with a real prospect of success.

They have six years from the date of last acknowledgement to start a court claim.
So neither the default date nor the date of judgement are directly relevant.
But it is likely that you last made a payment in mid 2008 leading to a default on 1/12/2008, and then they started a claim in late 2014, undefended, so judgement awarded 16/12/2014. So the debt was probably statute barred at the date of claim.0
