Hi,
A few years ago i opted out of the State Second Pension and the contributions put in a private pension through my employer.
I receive statements from the provider Royal London Plus annually with the last statement showing a transfer figure of £21.375.00.
Am i right in assuming that no further money will be paid into said pension due to to everyone been opted back in to the new state pension?
Secondly can I transfer this pension pot to another pension. I am currently paying into a workplace pension with Nest so could I add said amount to the Nest pension Pot for example.
I look forward to your comments

Yes if you are contracted in now, no more will go in.
While you can transfer into NEST, I would not advise doing so.0 -
It would appear that at the moment, you cannot transfer in to NEST but this may change.

With regard to NI rebates, these ceased in 2012.
A transfer out should be possible - why do you wish to do this?
Have you compared costs, options etc?0
