By your call - I mean you now need to decide what you want to do.
Go with Halifax direct (who do not need to know their own underwriting position)
Go with the brokers you have (who do not seem to know of lenders other than Halifax)

She contracts out her services so has own Ltd company for tax purposes.0

In which case it may be advisable to have her treated as a contractor and her income will then be the gross value of her contract. Normally, day rate x 5 x 46.
