Free name change by deed pool legit?

I seen on tv that you can use this web site to change your name for free

freedeedpoll.org.

i done a lot of reading around and it seems that it is possible to legally change your name using the above web site.

so i used it and sent of the form with my licence and other needed things to dvla 4 weeks ago. Now because i had not heard from them in the last 4 weeks i rang them to day to see what is going on only to be told that the deed poll i sent it not acceptable and i need to get a solicitor to change my name.....

has anyone else used that site to change their name on there driver liecence ?
