Hi guys I havent been around for a while. we are now 9 months into our BR, thanks to lots of preparation it hasnt been TOO horrendously painful. We have moved into a rented house and learned to live on a smaller budget - which is no bad thing really when i think of the money we used to waste. Actually meal planning shopping at ALDI is quite fun when you get used to it!
Anyway, a few questions
1. We went to court on 4/7/2014 but our BR certs are dated 11/4/2014. which will be right for AD (assuming we get AD)
2. How do you actually find out if you have got AD?
3. Older members of this forum may remember by problems over a house which I used to own with my ex, which had had my name on it till two years ago. I had some email correspondence early on with a Patricia King, sent copies of what i could and then not heard anything back. I don't want to email her and ask if case theyve sort of forgotten! So how will I know if the matter was sorted? and if it isnt will this mean that I don't get AD after one year?
Thanks guys
Bella x

The date of your discharge will be on https://www.insolvencydirect.bis.gov.uk/eiir/, search for your name
It will also say when you are discharged if you check again after the date mentioned, print it out and give to anyone who needs it when discharged

1. Date of the BR order. Dated at bottom.
2. Search here: https://www.insolvencydirect.bis.gov.uk/eiir/
When you find yourself in the result list, click on the blue surname which is a link to your entry which shows current status.
Will also show any AD date.
3. You will get AD no matter what. Property issues can carry on beyond that, but it's not anything to worry about.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB
