I normally buy ground coffee for myself and instant for OH. the ONLY instant I will drink is Alcafe 'Rich Roast'. it isn't QUITE like good coffee - but an acceptable substitute!0

Instant is vile !0

Not had instant coffee for a while so my comparisons may be pretty dated but when I was a (very broke!) student one of the few things I'd pay for was Caf! Noire instant coffee. It was the only version which I felt tasted good black as well as white.0

nescafe barista.
However a bialetti on the stove makes the best coffee (Illy!).Unless specifically stated all posts by me are my own considered opinion.

I don't like a strong coffee, and drink Birds Mellow.Liverpool is one of the wonders of Britain,
What it may grow to in time, I know not what.

Carte Noir classic is nice.
All Nescafe instant is horrible.
I love my Tassimo Costa Americano which works out at about 19p a cup and is as nice as the coffee shops. (it's not instant but pretty quick and very easy to do with a Tassimo machine).0 -
Another vote for Kenco Millicano0

To be fair, I think its a bit like how long is a piece of string.
Everyones taste are different.
I have a mate who will only drink Tesco Value coffee and swears that its lovely, I personally don't like a lot of brands as I think they taste burnt so my favourite is Mellow Birds.I’m a Senior Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Competitions Time, Shopping & Freebies boards, Employment, Jobseeking & Training boards If you need any help on these boards, do let me know.
