national trust/english heritage membership discounts

i'm wanting to get a years national trust/english heritage membership but hopes there were some discount/cashback options avail...anyone know?

£20 Quidco cashback for membership. If your 25 or under it is much cheaper to join about £15 instead of around £40.

Joining via scottish national trust is also slightly cheaper than the English one and you can still visit all the english sites. You do not get cashback on the scottish one though.

If you sign up to the National Trust they are offering 12 months for the price of 9 if you pay by direct debit. This is in addition to the £20 cashback for going through Quidco.

AND you get a free gift. It's advertised on the website as a picnic blanket but we received our membership pack today and it contained a really nice coolbag. Very happy with that.

For a family of four, we paid £58 by direct debit, with £20 Quidco commission to come off that.

Not at all bad when you consider that a family ticket to NT properties costs around £20!

i thought the scottish national trust via clubacrd vouchers was my best opion, but the t&c's say you can't buy membership only entry to individual properties with the clubcard thingys

the direct debit and £20 quidco is great find - have goen with that

Its for entry into one property, not membership. What a shame.

OH and I got a joint membership for one year, using Tesco clubcard vouchers and a small cash balance.

Where is the signup page please as it only says entry for propery not annual membership. Was it recently parsonswife?

Parsonswife signed up to English Heritsge which is an annual membership with Tesco Clubcard Deals, unlike the National Trust deal.

Annual membership of English Heritage gives entry for you and up to six accompanying children to over 400 historic sites across the country. It also gives free or reduced-price entry to hundreds of events, half-price entry to historic sites in Scotland, Wales and the Isle of Man, and free or discounted admission to over 30 other attractions in England.
