mortgage acceptance apply for new CC?

We have received a DIP and then got a full mortgage acceptance , but its £9k less than we need to buy our new house. We are able to get £5k ourselves and some family members have chipped in to help us get the other £4K. I’d like to pay them back as soon as possible and was considering taking out a loan a few months after we moved in to the new property (once on electoral role). But I’ve seen an article on money transfer cards and was considering this.
Would applying for one of the cards that offer cash transfers just now (even though I wouldn’t transfer the cash until after we had moved in) affect my offer from Aldermore?

And so will the fact you have presumably lied on your application? Aldermore do not accept loaned deposits.

sorry make I should have phrased it better - mother and mother in law have given us the money they aren't asking for it back - but I would rather give them it back. I feel somewhat guilty about taking their savings off them.
