Wedding Venue gone into liquidation

I need a little advice?! Hopefully someone can help
We have our wedding booked for August 2015, we have been having issues with the venue since December, they do not call you back when you leave messages, or reply to emails. We then found out that one of the directors (Marco Pierre White) has removed himself from a director and they had a creditors meeting on the 25th March. We have wedding insurance and I have in the last few days submitted them with the certificate of liquidation but as another company is taking over the venue and honoring weddings already booked there are they likely to say they will not pay out? We just do not trust the venue or the staff at all and this is stressful. HELP!!

    Presumably Horatio Inns Ltd. Went into administration in January; Alix Partners appointed as administrators, most recent update on situation here;

    It would seem that the pubs involved are still trading, the staff have been retained, the administrator believes that they are "four fundamentally good businesses" and has put them up for sale.

    It would depend on the exact wording of the insurance policy as to whether or not these events enable you to claim on the policy. I expect not, but that is just a guess.

    It is the Frogmill Inn, Cheltenham.

    We will contact Companies House and/or the Liquidators involved and we will then pay for any expenses you are not able to recover and additional costs in arranging equivalent services following the bankruptcy or liquidation of any supplier booked to supply any wedding service

    This is the actual wording regarding liquidation, but it does not mention about new owners.

    Have you spoken to your insurers?

    And have you tried to find an alternative venue for your date?

    And finally, have you been and spoken face-to-face with the manager at your venue to find out what their plans are?

    Liquidation, being sold as a going concern, you've nothing to worry about at the moment. If they *close* the business you've got a problem, but at the moment it is the same business with new owners
