IlL health retirement/ advisory board

Hi,
I think I'm going to be offered I'll Heath benefit retirement (I'm a teacher). This is very early retirement due to a cancer diagnosis.
I am not able to work at all and not expecting to work again. However, I'm on an NHS advisory board. I want to still do this as I am representing patients and it is important to me. It involves 2 days a month and I receive renumeration from this to the tune of £7,000 a year. I am not employed by the NHS.

Could someone please clarify for me whether this would be allowed?

(Typing on phone to apologies for grammar!)

Thanks so much!
