With all the bad press going round about bad pension scams it very worrying to me as I moved my pension last year with a broker from a company called CHALES DERBY and the have put it in a fund with AEGON? how do I know who to trust

What is the name of the broker that moved your plan to aegon. Check them against the fca register and ensure that they are authorised. The chances are that if they moved your money to aegon that you have not been scammed.
Have you received the documents from aegon to show the transfer took place. If in doubt call up aegon and clarify that they hold your pension funds.0 -

Aegon is a mainstream pension provider. A major brand name. Scams dont use mainstream products/options.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA).
