annual pension input amount -teachers pension

because of the changes to the teachers pension I have decided to start a sipp to run alongside my teachers pension - any idea how I go about calculating my annual pension input payment as my hubby wants to help get my contribution up to it's maximum- contacted teachers pensions but they said they couldn't help me thanks all

They're the very people who should have been able to help you.
This is from the SPPA - the Scottish Teachers' Scheme is administered by them but it's the same as the English scheme so it should help. It's basically the difference in value from one year to the next x 16 plus the difference in value of the lump sum if applicable.
