Free Game: XBOX - Forza 2 Fast and the Furious

I do do a search and couldn't see a topic. Microsoft and Universal have teamed up to release a standalone playable slice of Forza 2 Horizon themed around the Fast and the Furious franchise to help promote the new film.

This is completely standalone - you don't need to own any other version of the game. It is playable as is. Effectively a huge demo but so much more.

Available to download on both XBoX 360 (the version I played) which is a 2.22Gb download and XBOX ONE (16Gb I think)

Features 10 cars from the franchise and a big chunk of France to drive around incorporating 130 roads.

Has challenges, races, Achievements and loads more.

Free to download and keep until April 10th at which point it will be charged for (£7.99 I believe)

It's only free for a limited time (another week or so I think). It's a nice wee expansion to FH2 world but if you don't have FH2 then it's a fantastic taster for the full game.

Just to clarify as I didn't make it too clear in my original message.

The game (or standalone expansion or whatever) is free to download until April 10th.

If you download it before April 10th it is free and yours to keep and play for as long as you want.

After April 10th if you haven't downloaded it during the "Free Window" then it will be charged (at I think £7.99)

So if you want it then download it before April 10th

downloaded it for my sons 360 and its not in his my games list..
when we find it by searching a-z of games its there and showing green boxes for either "download again" or "more info" but no green box to "play" it...

Odd - did the download complete? I had to download it a couple of times as the download seemed to cancel on me. It definitely works though as I played another hour tonight. I am also playing it on 360.

You might need to complete the download in one go. Or if you choose Download Again it should pick up where it left off (e.g 60% or whatever)
