DIP accepted and most recent payslip requested. Is it unusual for no bank statement to be provided at this stage? WILL these normally be asked for later when full application is made?

In our case nationwide kept asking for additional documentation as we went along. It took a long time and I found them very disorganised. But some people sail through apparently. You just have to wait and see.0

Had application sent end of last week via broker to nationwide, broker only asked for pay slips, p60 and id's but said as ftb's they may want bank statements.0

It's not helpful, but every application seems to be different. They kept asking us for different things at different stages.. Whole application through L&C has taken two weeks - got a text to say we're getting a formal offer today!0

Our broker sent them pretty much anything they could ever ask for. Seems to be going alright thus far. Any ideas how long to mortgage offer after valuation?0

We have just got our mortgage through this company, the process took just over two weeks (seemed like a lifetime) they seemed to ask for a different bit of info every other day. This was really annoying however two weeks isn't too bad for the full process.0

what type of application are you going through with them? i.e house purchase, remortgage, further advance?0

House purchase...currently have a mortgage with them which is non-portable0

Baffled why your broker would submit the case without checking your bank statements in any case.I am a Mortgage Broker

I had to provide three months worth, requested from the off.
so in my experience they require them 100% of the time!:D£1000 Emergency fund No90 £1000/1000
LBM 28/1/15 total debt - [STRIKE]£23,410[/STRIKE] 24/3/16 total debt - £7,298

If you fly through credit check and are under 75% ltv, I dont think they are always required.
Not so good credit check and/or above 75% and they will be requested.... I think.
I dont use them a lot my experience of them is either a nightmare or the easiest lender I have dealt with.
