buying second home count as buy to let?

if I want to buy a 2nd house which I will move into and live is that classed as buy to let if owning home currently?

    I think it only counts if you buy a toilet.

    If you intend to let your current home and it has a mortgage, you require consent to let from the lender.

    If you intend to remortgage to a new lender and let your current home, that's a let to buy.

    You are buying a new main residence, so that is a simple residential mortgage.
