Pay later loans

Options
Hi Guys!

I have always wanted to visit Australia... I am looking for a £10k loan that I can pay 12 months later for. Does anyone know if these exist? I don't want to go with anything with a ridiculous APR just one that can help me out in the short term.

Thank you :)

If you can pay it back in a year's time, why not just save the money?

Australia's not that expensive. You do not need to stay in top quality hotels. There is enough budget and very good accommodation options available. £2k should be enough for a few weeks. Enjoy your holiday. If it's that important you go now then get a credit card.

:p Regular savers earn 6% interest (HSBC, First Direct, M&S) :p Loans cost 2.9% per year (Nationwide) = FREE money. :p

    What you need is called:

    1) Patience
    2) A savings account

Your desired loan product doesn't exist.

"I want to take £10,000 off you and travel to the other side of the world. I'm not prepared to start paying you back for a year" isn't a good business model for a sensible lender.

Not necessarily. People often have dreams that aren't really based on reality, but what's the harm?
I used to think that good grammar is important, but now I know that good wine is importanter.

You can get such a loan, but the only company offering them is the Bank of Mum and Dad.

Or another family member who has the spare cash.

I know exactly what the answer would be if I applied to the Bank of Mum & Dad for a loan that size to go on holiday. "Jog on!"

They closed my local branch and now operate out of Spain. Their lending criteria is VERY strict!

But not enough to save a penny for it?
Can we assume you don't mean you will repay it in 12 Months but would rather START repaying it in 12 Months?

Your head is already in the clouds so you have made some progress.
