ive not commented before as ive been on a little diet myself. im not too overweight anyway but now im old I struggle to keep the weight down.
I had put on 3/4 of a stone over my last 2 cruises.
so I wanted to get back to my target weight before I went on another. (cruisers will know what im on about)
but today I have achieved my target loss of 3/4 of a stone which took me 10 weeks.but I done it without giving up my Friday night session down the pub.
:)
but I have been trumped by mrs zippy as she lost a stone in the same time.
it does help loads when your both being careful.
reading the achievements of the 2 elites I mentioned above also inspired me on.
Wow well done to the zippys :TMr 3Dogs 3-7-12

As silverhairgranny has posted the £10 M&S meal deal. I wonder if I can ask a question?
Noticed last time I was in there that there was a £6 meal deal without the wine - 2 mains, 1 side and 1 sweet. I bought this as we don't drink & they had no non-alcoholic drinks left. Normally I'd give wine to our great neighbours next door but they are on a diet & strictly no alcohol too.
Is this always available & what does it normally contain for choices?
I know we had 2 moussaka, 1 mash & 1 very nice large apple pie BUT it was a Friday & a lady who was also choosing said the choices were very sparse & she should have shopped earlier. - when is best day to shop?0 -

Peeps,
Seen in a Boots store today, the following clearance items: CANDEREL, LUCOZADE TABLETS, DEXTRO TABLETS, DIABETIC CHOCOLATES, ATKINS BARS. All of them had about 75% off the shelf price. These were where they are normally kept with the diet items. Do have a look. A variety of Atkins Bars were down from £6 to about £1.25. Awesome deal if you use these.
Also, don't forget TESCO PIZZA EXPRESS FLASH CODES end this week. Use them up before they expire.
Not had a look at the thread today, probs already mentioned but FREE SCHWARTZ shots on QUIDCO and CHECKOUTSMART.0 -
New battery is here, finally. Not that anyone is interested in that or should be, but after days of waiting:mad::mad:. Just hope that I don't immediately cause the same problem to the new one:(. (I've already not followed the instructions to the letter, as didn't see them straight away and just dived in:(.)
I'll put off dealing with what I have from M until later - just notable of mention now is the Portion Cucumber appears to have gone down from 35p to 25p. However, the full cucumber is 49p (and is or was vs 45p Sains., I'm still way behind on that - wayyyy too much to do), although two portions usually amount to more than one cucumber. However, after seeing whoopsied full cucumbers at 14p I haven't gone for any others since! I'll go and sort it all out much later tonight, if I remember anything from what I've written by then:rotfl:.
Looks like I have "numerous" shops to do in Mr A this afternoon and evening. I notice a lot going on - and you'll need to help me to get up-to-date.
Do I understand correctly - Baxters soups and Tiger Nuts vs Sains? Brunch Bars vs T. Brunch Bars and/or Krispie Squares vs M. Can we have a complete summary on one post as it's all over the place at the moment and I'm struggling to take in/collate it all (can't believe that point about 'taking in' myself).0 -

Thanks. I need to know what compares - don't want to get, say, 2 Brunches and 1 Krispies only to find the Krispie doesn't compare vs M (it should - there shouldn't be any problem with it but just never know) and would have been better to have stuck to 3 Brunches vs T.0
