Gentle reminder to anyone with the Weight Watchers coupon - it expires today.
By the way, it knocks 58p off instead of 50p :)

My favourite cake yummmmmmm. Would you like me to keep an eye on it for you whilst you get on with your day? :D
There's no place like home :)

Feeling down? Weak in body? Makes no difference to me, I think of you all when I'm sitting quietly.

Hugs and healing thoughts are always going your way.

Morning all - weather is iffy but Sophie the cat has gone out so it may be improving :D

I've been downloading the myaviva app onto my phone - wont seem to take on the ipad, just shuts down

So I set up for myself a life insurance policy using the Aviva website - £5 a month - I've got good health but the form is quite searching - I think most people would still pay £5 a month but the amount that would pay out would be less.

Once that updates overnight I can register and get access onto the myaviva app - quite a few things on the Aviva rewards page including discounts and competitions plus a free luxury hot chocolate from Caf! Nero every Monday :T

plus after payment number 5 I should qualify for £75 Amazon voucher :T as I applied online - not through a cashback website

    http://www.aviva.co.uk/life/offer/

    It says

"for an approved and opened new Nationwide FlexAccount when you switch to Nationwide from a non-Nationwide current account using their full Current Account Switch Service"

but I need a non nationwide account to switch from :( - has anyone opened 2nd accounts with marks or First Direct (sort of like sacrificial goats? :D ) - can you have more than one and set up the 2nd ones online?

its says cashback in 3 months

That i dont know hun I swapped Clydesdale with one d\d. I originally opened basic santander account that started the switching marathon :)

I've had a dreadful cold, complete with hacking cough & blocked ears :(

Plus my boss screamed at me in front of customers when I was only helping a customer, they sent customer away & said I should of known better than to help :mad: and they didn't speak to me the whole day (even before the 'incident, not even a Good Morning)

So all weekend I brewed on this, knowing I was offering customer service & was not doing anything wrong....
So Monday I wrote out my notice & went in (full of Rescue Remedy :o) to expect an another dressing down. To which I would calmly reply my rehearsed speech.

Arrived at work - they were as nice as pie :eek::eek:

During the day other staff members told me they had stuck up for me & the customer had come back & used the suggestion I had discussed with them... :p:p:p:p

I personally think you should be running that place.

I was told off by my ex-boss for taking the time to chat with OAPs when we were quiet, one of them gave him what for in no uncertain terms and a whole load of them got together (not difficult as from the same sheltered housing) and told him I was the only reason they used the shop. Problem is that was the start of the end because it made him very nervous that they actually liked me serving them, he became even nastier, and I gave in my notice after coming back from holiday and finding I had been put on every day that week (only supposed to be 3 days) and he had a go at me for not being in on time when he had moved the start time without telling me. I already had my resignation in my bag but that made up my mind.

We are going down to start emptying Mrs Fourp's home tomorrow.

Fourp is getting very snappy so I know it is effecting him :(

    Anyway how is everyone else?

I haven't read back but wish you all health, wealth & happiness ♥

I wish I could come and give you a hug - hope things can start to improve when this is done xx

  • If anyone fancies buying the Special K or Crunchie Nut Cornflakes that are in the 3 for £5 offer, instore this morning it looks as though the boxes of Frozen and Star Wars cereals are now in the offer. They are nowhere to be seen on msm and should both act as good triggers..

Not quite as good as before, but potentially making each box cost approximately £1.10 each after apg

Sure - if you bake another one when you're done with it :)

Going to do a PD and put chocolate fingers round it (she very kindly sent me the recipe so I knew the quantities) AND I went mad and got the honeycomb fingers :D

perhaps following this mornings discussions on here we may conclude that they do not know the "sink or stink" test and have been quaffing down some very very old eggs at snack time...
