I tried these last week and they scanned at £3.50 with a SEL of £7. Might be in the area again on Wednesday, in which case I'll have another go. Really can't face any more chocolate at the moment though

Not long home from first hospital trip of the month. Knackered. However, I did go and visit the two departments where my various tests are booked, and managed to get appointments changed so two of them are on the same day.

Back again next Wednesday for my CT scan.

If she is suffering I can recommend teetha.... They are a crystal type that helps calm. Bit tricky to use the first couple of times due to the unfamiliar powder texture but I used to tip a sachet onto a spoon... After the first few attempts littleman got used to them and recognised what was on the spoon and would open wide like a little bird. They really seemed to help him cope with the pain.

Aw bless. Thanks, I'll give it a go, having been using dentinox and lots of distraction, effective atm but it's early days I think

Littleman had a CT scan when he was 8mnths old:( at the children's hospital, he loved all the lights and the lovely nurse who was blowing bubbles for him to watch until the other nurse strapped his arms by his sides so he couldn't move... He was no longer impressed:eek:
