Her landlords should be ashamed of themselves. This is her first time living away from home and she's had nothing but trouble poor love. They're paying almost £1000 a month for this place and already have a list as long as your arm of what's wrong with it. My personal favourite was the broken fridge drawer held together by duct tape and a pencil :mad:

That's awful EMMAP hope they sort it .

One of the bedsits/flat my DS was renting with his mate sounded bad in similar ways, His mates dad was a solicitor and managed to get their tenancy cancelled and found them somewhere better to live.

All of those problems should be dealt with by the landlord. We work for an estate agent that deals with rentals and we sort out the tv and phone problems.

Think they need to put a list in writing and tell them they expect to have a reduction in rent until such time that everything is sorted.

They have a list. We told them to take as many photos as possible and email both the estate agents and the landlords so everyone knows what's going on. I suggested the reduction in rent too. Why would you pay for something you're not getting? They don't really know what's hit them tbh
