Started the long job of transferring wombles to a giftcard. Bought a couple of the Branston Beans at £1.28 but asked first for a £4 giftcard. £6 APG accepted without a problem.
Think I will try for the Christmas bonus thing where A give you £6 if you've saved £144

this is interesting. I found a Christmas saving card on my desk the other day - have to look to see if its registered now
so you buy an item eg something for cashback but at the manned till first ask for £x to be added to the Christmas gift card.
Then hand over your collection of small value wombles“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -

well done to VT and VC and FC for organising it :T:TWell done VT and VC
Thankfully there were no fatalities, all horses safe and sound :j
I don't think comments about horse steaks sits well with me, sorry, just my opinion even though I did take part.
Off out for a while
I agree with these sentiments altojack, so pleased all were round safely, seen to many horses and riders die in competitions,0 -

I did get 6 x £10 off £50 for Sainsbos the other day but Im not keen on doing BM as I often don't get round to using them in the 14 days or can't find anything good enough to make up the spend. I used to stock up on spirits for Christmas and pressies before they stopped us using cond. spends on them
I've had nothing from morrisons either from emails or mailings or till spits - I registered my card at the launch point and OHs later but same thing for him, big zilch. I try to make a small purchase each week of at least one item per card - still nothing.
Sainsburys also don't love me any more which is fine - the feeling is mutual - no till spit conditional spends and nothing in the post for months either and even then the last one was for a £40 weekly spend. My Sainsburys spend is now about £20 a month if that - mainly cashback things and odd reduced or clearance items.
OH quite often gets a survey email for 50 nectar points for evaluating his latest Sainsburys shopping trip - I think this might be the most lucrative method of collecting nectar at the moment.
A while back I got £2 wys £20 till spits each week so I often did brand match shops - I don't think I've done a brand match shop now for 6 months.
I still love hunting down bargains but if supermarkets all vanished off the face of the earth tomorrow and all we had was Aldi/lidl, farmfood, Home Bargains B and M and Asda I would be quite content“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -
